Ozge Celik

Ozge’s primary field is political theory and her research interests include democratic theory, minority politics and feminist political movements. Her dissertation research involves the study of women’s human rights and three episodes in contemporary French politics: headscarf affair, the Parité movement for increased representation of women in government, and the Ni Putes Ni Soumises movement for protection of Muslim immigrant women from male violence. Ozge is one of the recipients of the Center for Humanities and the Arts 2009 fellowship on the theme of migration
